Beta testing of Samsung One UI 7 is in full swing. Samsung teams in various markets have started to review the beta version of the software. In particular, employees in India and the UK are testing One UI 7 before it is released to a wider user base.
One UI 7 beta process may start in October
Samsung has been working on the new One UI based on Android 15 for a while. The One UI interface, which offers the ability to customize the Android experience, is in preparation for the beta process. The new version is expected to offer improved animations, optimized battery life and a smoother user experience.
Samsung Electronics President TM Roh said that he was closely following the development process of One UI 7 for a smooth distribution program. Accordingly, the official One UI 7 beta program is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
It was stated that if Samsung does not distribute in September, it can use the Samsung Developer Conference to be held on October 3. The main focus of this conference will not be One UI 7, but beta distribution may begin with the event.
Samsung first adds features to its newest devices with updates. The One UI 6.1.1 update announced with the S24 series was also released for flagships. Therefore, the Galaxy S24 series and the foldable Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are expected to be the first models to be included in the beta program.
